Born 1994, in Stockholm, Sweden, and raised in the Åland Islands, she began her racing career at age eight in junior dragsters. Transitioning to the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series in 2024, Zetterström debuted with JCM Racing, reaching the semifinals at Brainerd International Raceway. For this first helmet we painted for Ida’s debut into Top Fuel, we drew inspiration from her venom-themed helmets during her bike racing days. Ida wanted this helmet to pay homage to the original design while making a statement. The color scheme—red, white, and black—was chosen to match her look she’s ran for years, while the design itself embraced a cartoonish style, similar to her earlier themed helmets. To ensure it stood out from a distance, we went for a bold, almost jack-o-lantern-like feel, with the vibrant colors and exaggerated features making the helmet instantly recognizable on the track.
